What happens during the exchange.

Seven days in Greece — short sessions, group work, simulation exercises, and one beach day to celebrate the sun. Designed for young people aged 18–25 with no prior media-literacy training.

  1. Day 01

    Arrival and Getting to Know Each Other

    Participants arrive in Alexandroupoli, meet the team, and settle in. Evening icebreaker games and a group walk along the harbour.

  2. Day 02

    Understanding Disinformation

    What is shared, why, and through which channels? Participants map their own information habits and identify where they are most vulnerable to manipulation.

  3. Day 03

    Verification Skills

    What is the role of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) in disinformation? Participants develop recognition and verification mechanisms. Hands-on practice using real, recent examples.

  4. Day 04

    Co-Creating a Toolkit

    Participants learn about the importance of a solid toolkit and collaborate to develop their own one.

  5. Day 05
    Cultural day · Pame Chalara · Celebrating the Sun · Beach Day

    Absorbing... "On a Relaxed Pace"

    A free day at the beach. “Pame Halara!” — time to rest, swim, and let the conversation flow over a long lunch.

    Fallacies, Stereotypes, and Self-Deception

    Twenty logical fallacies that participants learn through DoubleCheck's bingo activity, alongside self-deception exercises and self-debunking techniques.

  7. Day 07

    Practice... "On the Air"

    Participants run a live information exercise — filtering a stream of incoming claims and creating their own podcasts.

  8. Day 08

    In Practice

    Participants get to know the local community and study its resilience, putting what they learned into practice by engaging teenagers from the "SOS Children's Villages" in games and activities.

  9. Day 09
    Studio Practice · Production Activity

    Creation – Ethics – Participation

    Participants produce a proper, "professional" fake news bulletin (insert URL), managing the entire process from scriptwriting to final editing.

  10. Day 10

    Reflection & Farewell

    Every participant leaves fully equipped with their own resources and a comprehensive toolkit for youth education. Youthpass distribution and farewell.
